Our Beliefs of Faith

Grace Christian Fellowship Ministries accepts the scripture as the revealed will of God and adopts the following statements of infallible truths and doctrine:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God.

There is one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  All are co-equal and co-eternal.  Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh and is the second member of the Godhead.

Man was created in God’s image and after His likeness.  By voluntary transgression man fell and man’s only hope of redemption is in believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

Salvation of man, man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.  On the cross, Jesus became sin and sickness providing both salvation, healing and prospeirty for all mankind.  This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.  Salvation is also the inward evidence to the believer and the direct witness of the Holy Spirit.  The outward evidence to all men is a life of true holiness and love.  It is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however our works are evidence of our faith and will determine our rewards in eternity.

Baptism in water is a declaration to the world that a believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of like.  It is an outward show of an inward work.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit is an entitlement of all believers and we should ardently expect and earnestly seek this promise of the Father, according to the command of Jesus Christ.  With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, bestowment of spiritual gifts and their uses withing the work of the ministry.  This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth.

The evidence of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the full consummation in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service.

Communion is the celebration of the Lord’s Supper by eating of the bread and the drinking of the cum as a remembrance of the works of Jesus on the cross.

The church (universal) is the Body of Christ and each member is an integral part of its network.  In the body total prosperity is experienced, spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, and socially.

The blessed hope of every Christian is the return of Jesus to gather all His saints to heaven.  Those who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus will suffer eternal separation from the Godhead.  They will burn in the lake of fire.

The millennial reign of Jesus with his saints from heaven to rule and reign for on thousand years on earth as the scripture promised.  After this, there will be a new heaven and a new earth.
